Murray is a 5 year old, neutered red male,
apprx 100 lbs. Murray needed to
find a new home because his owners were relocating & could not take him
to the new home. His present foster home is having all of his shots
updated & heart worm check done. Murray came into our program without
having shots since 1999, underweight & with toe nails so long they curled
under his feet. He has been with his foster home since right before
Christmas, they report that he is good in the house, not destructive,
very mellow & affectionate dog. They are in the process of crate
training him. He is good with children, dogs & especially loves cats!
He is very nervous in the car, his foster home is trying to condition him
to rides. He is food bowl aggressive (will growl) and needs to be fed
separately. So far, Murray shows no interest in playing with toys.
NEBR is seeking a home that is dog savvy and will provide Murray with
care & love that he deserves. PS: For anyone that might be interested
in Murray, we would like to place his cat with him (not mandatory though)
Murray & his kitty are best buddies. They sleep together & can
frequently be seen licking each other's faces. They came into placement
together because the owner had insisted.
Rosie is a very sweet & friendly 10 month old spayed female bloodhound. She is up to date on all her shots. She is red with a white chest. She weighs in at about 70 lbs. Roxie is crate trained & is considered housebroken. She attended beginners obedience training and started to learn simple obedience commands. She does well in class with the instruction and the other doggie participants. Roxie has been raised with young children and is good with them, but being a big puppy, she can knock them over when excited. Also, being a puppy, she loves to chew. Her ownder reports that nylabones have worked well to keep her occupited. Like most Bloodhounds and puppies in general, Roxie needs exercise. She loves to pay and run outside in teh yard. Her ownders have moved to a new home and dont have the space or the facilities for Roxie.
If you can provide Roxie with a great home & sufficient room to exercise, please contact us!
